My story

I began creating Sailor’s Valentines and seashell bouquets during the summer of 2019 in Nantucket, MA. Although meticulous, I quickly found this art to be addictive and therapeutic, and appreciate the history and hard work associated with its origins. I developed a newfound respect for antique forms of nautical and folk art and am grateful to have discovered an outlet for my creativity. I find pleasure in collecting overlooked seashells and using them to create a mosaic or arrangement of unique, nautical beauty.
